South Facing Rooms:
South Facing Rooms can be an absolute joy to decorate because they are filled with light all day long and most any color will look spectacular! To maximize the lightness of the space, try using colors with more pale undertones. I’m a big fan of painted trim in most rooms. My favorite is a painted crisp white to contrast a darker wood floor, literally any floor. This combination is especially striking in a South facing room because the natural light highlights the natural contrasts so beautifully.
