Machine Made Rugs

Machine made rugs can be made with natural fibers or synthetic fibers. They can be made quickly with computerized machine precision. Because of the way they are made, they don’t tend to last as long as handmade or antique rugs, usually 20 years or less. With care, machine made rugs can last longer but they are not prized by collectors, but they are quite useful to add texture and color for today’s home decorating enthusiasts. You can usually tell a rug is machine made if it has fringe that is sewn on under the back of the rug.
