How it Works


Step 1. Purchase Service

Select one of my services. Payment is required before I begin your project. It can be submitted a few different ways: through PayPal invoice, Venmo, or you can pay directly on my services page through my website. If you prefer another way to pay, please contact me through my contact page so that we can arrange that.

Once you have selected and paid for your service, you will receive a link to my confidential questionnaire where you can tell me all about what you want to accomplish for your new space and design brief page outlining the scope of the project. You must complete both before work can begin.

Step 2. Mood Board And Product Review

Once you complete the confidential questionnaire and design brief, I get to work on selecting the initial products for your project. I’ll compile my favorite products into a mood board and in about 5 business days, you’ll receive an invitation to a secret Pinterest page where we can collaborate on pieces for your new space. I will create a mood board of all the pieces I feel work best for you from Pinterest and send it to you as part of this step. It’s important that you “like” the pins on the board and comment on why you like or dislike something so that I understand your tastes better. Sometimes I include pictures of unique design elements if it is something that we agree will work in your space.

Why Pinterest? I use Pinterest because it is easy for us to communicate back and forth from any device. I will share a variety of products with you so you have choices for what you want to accomplish. You will have access to your boards forever, so you can purchase your products in phases if you prefer. I cannot guarantee that the products will still be available if you wait to purchase but I will gladly research alternatives of any product that is no longer available for my hourly fee, $75.00/hour.

Step 3. Room View

I will create a 3D render of the space so you can see exactly how it will look before you purchase anything. I refer to this as your room view. I will also include a floor plan detailing where things will go in the space, a clickable shopping list where you can purchase the items I sourced, and full instructions on how to install your plan step by step. (Space render is only available with Simply Complete, my full e-design service.) You can add a render to any service that I provide for a la carte fee which you can find on my services page.

You will receive your plan within 7 business days form the completion of your mood board feedback.

One complimentary revision is provided if necessary.

Step 4. Order Furniture and Decor

You can order the products directly from your clickable shopping list in your plan. I have trade relationships with many of the vendors I use to source products for my clients, so if you prefer me to order the products I will be happy to do so. I may be able to offer discounts off retail pricing for many of the items on the source list. I want you to get the best options at the best prices, so I do not mark up the furniture or décor I source from the vendors I use.

For certain decorative items like pillows or accessories, I prefer to use smaller businesses with whom I’ve formed trade relationships.

Step 5. Installation

Time to put it all together. Use the plan to follow the step by step instructions for how to install your new space! If you have questions or need clarification, you can reach out to me up to 30 days prior to receiving your design package. I will be available for a scheduled call or video chat where I can provide answers to your questions.

My goal is that you enjoy this experience of transforming your space and I will do everything I can to make that a reality!
